A gourmet cannibal secretly loves his neighbour. However, she is a vegetarian. This may be a problem.

Oscar Mongoût, a gourmet cannibal, burns with love for a neighbour in his building, the very vegetal Miss Carrot. But this passion seems destined to fail: she is vegetarian, while he has a severe case of vegetable phobia. Things take a drastic turn the evening she invites him to dinner.

The Producers


Axel Courtière - Director and Writer

Axel is an independent film-maker based in Paris. He specialises in mixing fiction and animation. After graduating from the ESAG Penninghen in Paris, where he completed his first short Happy End, Axel directed in 2013 Le Dernier Homme, a fantastical short film, which will be selected in numerous festivals (Palm Springs, Rhode Island, Fantasporto, Festival of Nation, Court-métrange…). Afterwards, Axel worked on two videos for the band Poom, Big Bang and Toi & Moi. In parallel, he directed numerous commercials (Lacoste, Dolce Gusto, Canal+, Tropicana). In 2017, released his latest short film Belle à Croquer, a fantastical film with a highly worked universe, on which he worked for more than five years.
